About

Mission

Open Source Innovation Hub (OSIH) is an Interreg project aimed at fostering interregional cooperation and innovation through open-source technologies. The initiative focuses on establishing two new innovation hubs to strengthen collaboration between target groups in the Czech Republic and Austria. Its overarching goal is to leverage open-source methodologies to enhance interoperability, transparency, and innovation in digital solutions, ultimately empowering citizens and promoting sustainable regional development.

Through joint development efforts, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of open standards, OSIH seeks to break down digital barriers and drive cross-border synergies. By emphasizing open-source practices, the project aligns with broader European goals of digital sovereignty and resilience. It serves as a model for cooperation by building inclusive and future-proof digital ecosystems that benefit all stakeholders.

The OSIH project reflects the values of openness, transparency, and collaborative innovation. It aims to create transformative solutions that address shared challenges across borders while supporting sustainable development in the region
